A couple of years ago we set ourselves a year-long project to add one green step to our lifestyle each month. We were mostly successful and are still doing most of them. I finally unpacked the new Serenity pillows, encased each of them in two organic pillow cases, and put them on the bed. I love mine. Eldred hasn't said anything either way about his. I have today off since I worked on Sunday. I slept in, which was lovely. When I got up I opened the windows in the bedroom and master bath upstairs and the living room and kitchen downstairs. We did several steps in January, so I wasn't sure what to tackle in February. Eldred solved the problem by installing the reusable air filter in the upstairs hall. I bought it a while back but it required cutting to fit and I never got around to it. So, now, both our air returns have reusable filters. Yay ( Read more... )

I just read this press release about solar windows. I knew about the company making solar shingles. Both are great ideas!
